Default Development of an AnyBody Musculoskeletal Manikin in SolidWorks CAD system

Hi everyone.

During about two weeks, I had worked in the AnyBody Research Group on the integration between the CAD system SolidWorks and the AnyBody Modeling System.
The purpose of this work is to explore the possibility of using musculoskeletal simulation as an interactive design tool in a CAD environment.

This is an incomplete prototype of an application with the following characteristics:
◆Import AnyBody human model into SolidWorks
◆Change human size and modify human posture
◆Create reference entities(anchor points) in AnyBody human model
◆Define relationship between human and product model
◆Export all necessary files to perform an analysis in AnyBody

You can see a video file of this work at this address(HD recommended):

Future plans for updating this application:
◆Converting all possible combinations of mates in SolidWorks CAD system to corresponding mechanical joints in AnyBody system for the product model in CAD
◆Importing an user-defined AnyBody human model to be manipulated easily in CAD system
◆Posturing AnyBody human model easily in SolidWorks CAD system
◆Creating human & product reference entities easily for their mutual interaction
◆Handling of various human-product interaction types to cover all kinds of joint types
◆Allowing motion data for the human-product combined model to perform an analysis in AnyBody easily
◆Showing a biomechanical analysis result in SolidWorks using AnyBody console application
◆Optimal product design function in CAD system using AnyBody Optimization Study
