Default Error (OBJ.MCH.KIN3)

Hello !!

I am Simon and I study at the University of Luxembourg.
I am making a new model to simulate the flexion of Knee with a lying down
fullbody without muscles. When I make the kinematic analysis, I have this
message error:
" ERROR(OBJ.MCH.KIN3)" and my question is to know I could resolve this
mistake.

Thanks Simon Pierre

Default RE: [AnyScript] Error (OBJ.MCH.KIN3)

Hello Simon,

The description of the error message:

OBJ.MCH.KIN3 (Fatal error)

ERROR(OBJ.MCH.KIN3) : 'ObjectName' : Kinematic analysis failed in time step
'integer'

This error may arise when the kinematical analysis fails to complete. This
implies that the kinematic constraints does not have a solution or simply
that the solution was not be found with under the given numerical
circumstances.

In the latter case, more appropiate settings of the kinematic solver may
allow for a solution.Additionally, a better choice of initial positions will
improve the solver ability to solve the constraints.

I guess with a small change in the initial position the model should be able
to solve. Please upload the model to the files section if you fail to make
it run.

Best regards,

Sebastian
