batch mode in version 3.0

Hello All;

Has anyone tried running batch mode with version 3.0?
I am trying to run batch mode by pointing a macro file (*.anymcr)
The macro file runs if I go like:
> anybodycon
> runmacro “macro.anymcr”

But it does not run if I say:
> anybodycon macro.anymcr

This second option seemed to be running smoothly with version 2.0

Many thanks…

Can

Can-

I ran into the same problem. Check out Message #1582 and subsequent
posts. They may help. Also, I think Michael has fixed the problem,
any may be able to get you a new .exe file to make it work.

Good luck,
David

Thanks David;

I did a search on the messages for batch but could not hit 1582.

Thanks for the reply.

I hope Anybody will update the download site and include the new
executable.

Regards…

Can

Hello Can and David,

Indeed David is right. I fixed this issue. We are collecting a bunch of bug
fixes in a new release soon.

We are still struggling a little with some Vista compatibility issues but as
soon as these are ready we assemble the new version.

By the way - one of my colleagues just said that he had no problems finding
message 1582, so I believe it is still there.

Best regards,

Michael

Dear David,

You have been very patient - thank you.

AnyBody version 3.0.1 has been in testing for some time now (somewhat longer
than we expected).

It is available at

www.anybodytech.com/download.html?did=anybody.3.0.1
<http://www.anybodytech.com/download.html?did=anybody.3.0.1&loc=AnyscriptGro
up> &loc=AnyscriptGroup

Actually, It has been available here for some weeks now, but it has not been
officially released, because some testing was still ongoing and the software
was updated from time to time.

Please notice the following issues.

  1. Since it is a minor update version, it will install on top of your

version 3.0.0.

  1. It is not 100% compatible with all models, please have a look at

the release notes after installing. Due to this there is a new version of
the public repository coming out as well. It is called version 6.2 and it is
available at http://www.anybody.aau.dk/repository/Repository6.2/index.htm.

  1. The examples distributed together with AnyBody are also updated

based on the Repository version 6.2. This implies that you must update
(reinstall) the demo examples from the Help -> Demo. menu before the fully
functional.

I am sorry for the long wait and I will get back to you soon on some other
very old topic awaiting the new version.

Best regards,

Michael
