global model position during animation


for an animation i would like to simulate lateral bending of the upper body of the StandingModel. Unfortunately in the model view the feet are not fixed but move contralateral within the window. (Probably the centre of mass is fixed.) This looks a bit like the moonwalk.

Has someone an idea how to fix the feet with respect to the model view window?

Yes, that’s the interplay between the CoM and the feet drivers.
Try fixing the feet. You might need to allow a violation of the CoM drivers by solving an over-determinate problem. You could do so by, say, setting the knee and CoM drivers to be soft.
