How to use c3d2any

Hi AnyBody support,

I try to use c3d2any to convert c3d file which was created by OPTITrack to one that can be accepted by AnyBody.
But I faced some error “The specified element type is undefined”.
I want to ask you what “element type” means.

Thank you very much.
Akira

Hi Akira,

This tool has been replaced by functionality in AnyBody which allows these files to read in directly, this is a much better option.

Please try to use the object AnyInputC3D instead.

Best regards
Søren

Thank you for your message.

I tried to insert AnyInputC3D.
But I don’t know Where the “AnyInputC3D” insert in GaitFullBody.

I beg your kindness.

Hi Akira,

I set up a new tab in the Wiki, it basically describes what needs to be done to get your own C3D into a AnyBody model. It is done on the GaitLowerExtremity, but it is similar with the Full bOdy. Please have a look at:

http://wiki.anyscript.org/index.php/How_to_setup_your_own_MoCap_driven_Model

Thank you for your message.

I read the Wiki, but I didn’t understand sRel value.
Does this value mean default value ?

I beg your kindness.
Akira

Hello Akira,

Yes, sRel is the position of the marker on the segment. The value in the Wiki and in the GaitFullBody or GaitLowerExtemetiy are default values from our Gait Lab. If you place the markers different in your Gait Lab you should change the sRel values slightly.

Additional: sRelOpt is not an absolute value it will be scaled according to the scaling of the model.

Thank you for your message.

I could solve this problem.
Thank you again for your kindness.

Akira
