The problem with the via-point is that they do not surrounds the humeral head properly. However, the ligaments are stretched by the shape and the movement of the humeral head (e.g. external rotation, abduction, etc.). Thus, artificial rakes with wrapping surfaces seems to be more realistic.
I’ll do it one step at the time. I found a paper (Yang 2010) that measured the length of the GH ligaments numerically, so I will use it as a reference.
