I recently updated my AnyBody version to the most recent version (6.0.4) and I didn’t realize that by updating I would lose all files that I had personally added to the AMMR. For instance the project I’m working on required that I make edits to the ForcePlateType4 class in the ToolBox, so I made a separate class that contained the edits that I needed. Is there any way to recover the files that were lost when I updated?
I am afraid you changes are most likely lost. Files in the installation directory are overwritten on update. The only option I see, is if you have some backup system for your computer.
How did you change the AMMR files? On my computer they are write protected, which I think is to prevent this kind of problem. The copy of AMMR in the installation folder is only included to ensure that models can run even if the users haven’t downloaded their own copy of the AMMR.
Of course that doesn’t help you much now. May I ask what changes you had made to the forceplate class?
