Validation with Wilke Spine Disc Pressure Model

Hi, about the validation with Wilke Spine Disc Pressure Model, the force I got on L4-L5 disc from the 'SpinePressureStanding.Main.any' file in the validation folder is different from the value (e.g., 556.06N) in the excel file in the validation folder, how is this 556.06N calculated? Thanks.

Hi Qiaoqiao,

The Excel file was probably generated with an older version of the repository and was not updated. But I would not expect large discrepancies. Thanks for noticing - we will check this! What version of AMS and AMMR are you using?

Hi Pavel, Thank you for the reply. I use AMS v7.3, AMMR v2.3.
For validation with Wilke data, should I use proximodistal value or the total force?

The proximodistal value probably makes most sense. In Wilke's experiment they used a pressure transducer oriented horizontally, somewhat central and close to the inferior endplate.
