About MarkerPosOnBody.any

Dear AnyBody team,

I read one of your responses related to markers, which is:

"The model basically has two sets of identical markers;

The first set of the markers are attached to the bones so these marker
coordinates are defined in the local coordinate system of the bones
segments.
These nodes has been fitted manually to the bones, their definition
can be found in the file MarkerPosOnBody.any…"

Looking at MarkerPosOnBody.any, nodes were defined using .Scale,
which makes me think that you have standard node locations for
anatomical landmarks.

So, I’m curious how you fit nodes on the bones. Did you calcuate
locations of nodes from collected motion data (i.e., post-process
marker data relative to each segment)?, or did you have standard node
locations for anatomical landmarks?, or did you graphically decide
from AnyBody model view?

Sincerely,
Sunwook

Dear Sunwook

Sorry about the late reply.

The positions where determined using the ModelView. The .scale which
is applied to the nodes makes them follow the model when it is
scaled, so we have a standard location of the modes, this is correct.
If you would like to change these positions another MarkerPosOnBody
file can be used.

Best regards
Soeren, AnyBody Support
