About NegMuscle and PosMuscle in JointMuscles

Dear AnyBody Team,

In case of No muscle model, I see two muscle types (Neg and PosMuscle).
I am not so clear if PosMuscle corresponds to a postive moment: for
example, in case of the trunk flexion, Fm of PosMuscle should have
positive values and Fm of NegMuscle should be zero.

Is it right? Please give some explanation on Neg and PosMuscle.

Sincerely,
Sunwook

Hi Sunwook

Sorry about the slow reply

I have uploaded a small example which should display the function of
the pos and neg muscles. It is named “posnegmuscle.any”

The model has one segment and one revolute joint with a pos and a
neg muscle applied.

The example shows that the pos muscle is applying a positve moment
to the joint and the neg muscle applies a negative moment to the
joint.

Please try to run the model and look at the output of the pos and
neg muscles to see this.

Best regards
Søren
