Adding force platform data

Hello,

For my project, we are having trouble figuring out how to add force platform data to a motion capture trial.

For context, the motion capture trial records a subject standing up from an initial sitting position. When the motion was recorded, we placed a force platform on the chair under the subject and simultaneously recorded. In terms of other external forces, we have the ground reaction force all set. Our plan is to apply the force platform transient data directing on a point under the pelvis.

If you have any resources or instructions that would help us in achieving this goal, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @caratran

What marker data do you have? c3d or bvh format?

If your forceplate data is located in your c3d - you can tweek the ForcePlateAutoDetection class which the Mocap models use to setup the plates. it is located in the ammr under AMMR/Tools/AnyMoCap/ForcePlates/ForcePlateAutoDetection.any

If you have the data in a separate text file (txt or csv) you can either try the ForcePlateAutoDetection class or manually setup the forceplate with AnyForce3D and AnyInputFile.

Best regards,
Bjørn
