Center of Mass

Hi. When I added AnyDrawSeg to my segments and made bone gormetries transparent, I realized Center of Masses are not in the place they are defined (Figure 1)

Hand CoM is shown on a side finger
Ulna CoM is Outside the hand
Radius CoM for Left and right hands are different, both are outside the hand.
Humerous CoM is next to shoulder
Shoulder CoM is behind the body, Green

That’s not all. when the body bends, CoMs slide. Trunk CoM rotates but gets stuck in the same place. (Figure 2)

I use AMMR1.0 for compatibility with my professor’s previous works. so if this has been fixed in later versions, I must find the fix and apply it to AMMR1.0

Hi,

There are two easy ways to check the location of CoM for each segment.

  1. You can use the AnyKinCoM measure.
  2. You can define your own AnyRefNode using the sCoM value of each AnySeg object. Then you can create its AnyDrawRefFrame object.

I’m sorry to say but unfortunately we are not supporting the old versions of AMMR such as AMMR1.0.

Best regards,
Moonki
