design of wiplahs injury during climbing fall

Hello all togehter!

For my master theisi i want/have to simulate the moments/acceleration/force on the spine during a fall into a climbing harnes. The farces and the time how long the forces aply to the body are known, the thing i am unsure about is if anybody is accurate enough to simulate such a szenario ( if the worst case szenario is simulated the person falling is unconscious, so no muscle activity would be necessary)

Hello Seppl,
this sounds like a forward dynamics problem. AnyBody is doing inverse dynamics, so the motion is input to the analysis. Honestly, I don’t think that AnyBody is the right tool for this.
