Driving AnyBody with joint angle data


I am aware that you can drive an Anybody model with kinematic data in the form of marker postions. We have Vicon data that was previously collected and processed such that the data we now have is joint angles over time. Is it possible to drive a model with such data? If so do you have an example in which this is done?

If you do not have an example could you provide some details of how to specify the drivers. I currently use AnyKinEqSimpleDriver but within this you can just specify positions/velocities.

Hi Monique,

You can just use an interpolation driver. It will read your joint angle values directly off a text file. The “Mechanical elements” tutorial, lesson 4, links to a sample model.
