Error on building block tutorial

Hi,

I am a new user to anybody and have been working through the
tutorials. I have got up to the ‘Building Block’ tutorial, to
construct a pedal model. At the end of Lesson 2: ‘Importing the leg
model’ I seem to receive this error message:

ERROR : C:\Simon AnyBody\AnyBodyRepository4\AnyBodyRepository4
\ARep\Simon\PedalModel\Body.Model.any(6) : StrengthRef :
Reference to non-folder object. References can only be made to
AnyFolder objects or derived. AnyValue objects must be linked by
expressions if possible.

Deleting last loaded model…
Model loading skipped

I have tried it twice now and have got the same error on both
occasions. Could you please let me know where I am going wrong.

Thank you

Simon

Hi Simon

Welcome to the group

Please let us know which version of the AnyBody system and the
repository you are using, this will facilitate solving your problem.
If you choose Help and the About box in AnyBody it will display the
version number. The repository you are using are most likely either
Respository4 or Repository5?

Best regards
AnyBody support

Hi Simon

The problem should be solved now.

The the new version 2.0 has a more strict error check on
the AnyScript than the previous versions, and it found the error you
reported. The error it found is a real error in the script. The
error was that a reference where being made to a value (AnyVar) and
not a folder object (AnyFolder) and this is not allowed.

If you had used the previous version of AnyBody it would have
ignored the error and it would not affect the analysis in this case.

We have removed the error and updated the repository, please
download it again from

http://www.anybody.auc.dk/repository/AnyBodyRepository4.zip

Futhermore the tutorial has slightly changed so please use the
online version on

http://www.anybodytech.com

I hope this solves your problems, otherwise please let us know

Best regards
