Hello,

I exported all forces (using: AnyMechOutputFileForceExport) for Pevis Segment
(Main.HumanModel.BodyModel.Trunk.SegmentsLumbar.PelvisSeg)
and Sacrum Segement (Main.HumanModel.BodyModel.Trunk.SegmentsLumbar.SacrumSeg) separately

I noticed that force "GluteusMaximusInferior" is included in both exported (.txt) files!!

In the .txt file based on PelvisSeg, it has a RefFrame
Main.HumanModel.BodyModel.Trunk.SegmentsLumbar.PelvisSeg.Right.Muscles.GlueteusMaximusWrapSurfaces.Inferior1

However, in the .txt file based on SacrumSeg, it has a different RefFrame

Main.HumanModel.BodyModel.Trunk.SegmentsLumbar.SacrumSeg.Right.LegAttachmentNodes.GluteusMaximusInferior1Node

What is the difference between both values and which one to consider in the FEA?!

Hi Ahmed,

This muscle has origin on the sacrum and inserts on the femur, and it is wrapping on a cylinder which is connected to the pelvis.

So the forces on sacrum relates to the muscle attachment and the forces on the pelvis represents the forces which the muscle creates on the cylinder it wraps around.
