Help request for testing the incline press machine model

Hi,

I’d like to ask a favor of you about my model.

This model includes the incline press machine combined with the AnyBody human model.

I used AnyBody 4.1.0.1006(Build 14579.43980) version with AMMRV1.2.

I’d like to ask of you for two reasons.

  1. I could perform the kinematic analysis and the inverse dynamics analysis. I used ‘KinSolOverDeterminate’ solver type for over constrained system.
But my model generates a lot of kinematic errors in AnyBody 4.2 version. I’d like to know the reason.

  2. When I try to perform the inverse dynamics analysis, a lot of penetration warnings for via-points occurred. Would you please let me know how I should remove these warnings?

Best regards and thanks always for your supports,

Hi,
I ran your model and didn’t get kinematic error with 4.2. Are you running the latest release? Could you please post what is happening, as I cannot reproduce it its hard to judge. The peneteration you see is in some muscles in the radius, It seem the wrist is in quite some flexion, in this position a viapoint pentetrates the wrapping surface. The fix is to visuallize the viapoints and the wrapping surface and slightly change the definiton of one of them.
Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi,

Yes, when I first loaded my model, sometimes the kinematic analysis goes well without errors. But it is the only one time.

When I reload the model by using F7 button and retry to run the initial conditions, I could see the error.

I attached the error log file.

Of course I’m using the latest AnyBody 4.2 version from your official site.

Best regards,
Moonki

Hi, Sebastian.

Thanks for your reply. I hope to get the updated AMS.

Hi Moonki,
please have a look at the anybodytech.com page. In the download section, under subscription services is a new version available. That should fix the issue.
Best regards,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

I downloaded the new version and tested it with my model. It works well as in AnyBody 4.1 version.

Thank you very much for your rapid update.

Moonki
