how to achieve the model from to one state to another

Hi,everyone
I want to know how to achieve the model from to static state to
dynamic state. That’s to say how to drive the model from one state to
another.
For example in “egress.any” , I don’t understand how to achieve the
model from seating to standing?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi ChangweiX,

To drive a model you need to specify the positions and velocities of the
joint drivers, please have a look in the joints and drivers file.

Another approach is to use marker data. Meaning, in simple words, that you
choose or create nodes on a segment which corresponds to the given marker
and then create a measure between the marker and the node which you can also
drive to a specific value (e.g. 0), by releasing the corresponding joint
degrees of freedom you can achieve the wanted motion. The segment will then
follow the marker.

Please have a look in the tutorials. There you will find answers for your
questions in much more detail with examples.

Best regards,

Sebastian
