How to use Anybody to evaluate the effect of knee brace

Hi

I have a question, let KOA patients wear braces and no braces for gait experiments, and then import C3D files into Anybody for inverse kinetic analysis. Is it possible to analyze the effect of bracing?
Or do I need to add the brace to the HumanModel and apply a moment acting on the Human to simulate the effect of the brace？

I want to evaluate the effect of the brace. By comparing the changes in the adduction moment and the medial contact force, my question is do I need to add the brace to the human？ Just like Human-Exo, Or use C3D files with and without braces for inverse kinetic analysis. Hope someone can help me, thank you in advance.

Hi BBJ,

I think you need to model the brace and let it create a moment.

Using the C3D files alone may show a difference IF the subject walked differently with the brace, but you will only see a partial effect in the best case.
