Joint Angles

Hi,
I am trying to design an ArmAndShoulder model with GHflexion =20°, and
ElbowFlexion=70° (in the Mannequin Folder). So the Forearm must be
parallel with the frontal plane, but it isn’t. When I watch the view
window, it seems to have like 10° in neutral position(ElbowFlexion=0°).
So I have to enter 60° instead of 70° to see the forearm in the
position that i want. Can you confirm me that and tell me where i can
find the angle in neutral position if it’s not in the Mannequin Folder?
But the problem may be in an other part of my model.

Thank you for your help,
Best Regards,
Franck

Hi Franck

The gh flexion is measured wrt to the thorax so if you have any
flexion specified on the thorax this may have the effect you see.
Similarly if you have rotated the pelvis this may also have this
effect.

You should be able to control all the body angles using the
Mannequin folder.

Best regards
