I am working on anybody repository squatting and walking models. I have a question regarding squatting model joint power. Overall kinetic and potential energy can be found from the results. But I couldn’t find joint power values.
Is it possible to get joint power values as an output from inverse dynamic analysis.
It is much appreciated if one of you can consider my question.
In principle yes but it not part of the standard output.
You will need to setup equations in the script to calculate it there or export the data and do it outside anybody.
You will need to use the torque generated by the muscles, this can be found in selectedoutput folder and you will need to use the kinematics of the joint in question.
