Kinematic analysis failed at step 0

Hi Everyone,
I’m currently working on a project (loading c3d data) using the Twente Lower Extremity Model in AMS. I recently adjusted the marker positions to better match my subject’s setup, but I’m still encountering the following error during kinematic analysis:

Any suggestions or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Harshini,

It's a little bit hard to say why your model doesn't work.

Have you run parameter identification?
Can you attach a screenshot of the model view, so we can get some clues in case your markers are not correctly placed?

Best regards,
Dave

Thanks for your reply.

The markers are misaligned in my model. Could you help me align the markers with the trajectory?

Could you explain in detail about parameter identification?

Here, I have attached the image.

Hi Harshini,

You should run the ParameterIdentification operation on your model first. That will optimize the segment lengths, so that the model anthropometry matches the data from the raw data. It will also optimize the position of the markers with green arrows to match the raw data.

Please go through our tutorials for a better understanding, in particular this one.

I would also suggest The AnyMoCap Framework — AMMR v3.0.4 Documentation
and
How to use own data in AnyMocap model · AnyBody/support Wiki · GitHub.

You may also benefit from a weak mannequin driver for the head since it looks like there are no markers on the head.

Best regards,
Dave
