Knee joint recation force has a negative number

Hi
After I used normal human gait C3D data to drive the model, the knee joint recation force had a negative value. Can you tell me the meaning of negative numbers? Thank you in advance.

Hi zzs,

You are looking at the medio-lateral joint reaction force for right knee, so if the force is positive it is in the lateral direction and then if it is negative it is in the medial direction. The opposite is true for the left knee. Hope this helps.
