Load times in AMS v. 7.2.3 significantly longer than previous version

I have recently updated AMS from v. 7.2 to 7.2.3. When loading my models now, the load time is significantly longer than in the previous version. Load times are upwards of 40-50 seconds compared to 10-20 seconds before. Any idea why this is the case and what I could do to improve the load times?

Hi Sebastian,

Which model types are you working with?

If it is a BVH model, notice that the preprocess step previously required now happens at load time, so it will save some time in the other end.

How many frames do you have in the model ? and did you see any speed difference while running models.

Thanks for the reply.

I am running BVH models of about 110-200 frames, so it makes sense that it takes a bit longer to load.

It sorted itself out, however. After copying some models, I hadn’t noticed that the harddrive I was using became almost full. So after cleaning up my drive a bit and restarting my computer, I am back to 15-20 sec load times.
