Low forces in the joints

Hi everyone!

I have some gait trials (1 male person, 65 kg) which we try to analyse with AnyBody. Exactly we analyse the loads in the hip、knee and ankle joint appearing during a normal run.
The problem is, that we have low forces in the joints, especially in the second peaks, down to 3xBW. How can we regulate this?

Thank you for your reply.
Best regards,

Hi Yue Yu

It does look like the forces are low. Can you please describe a little bit more about your experimental setup and the model you are using for estimating the force?

The loads in the joints would depend on a number of factors, but especially the speed. Have you tried to compare the speed of your subject to the speed reported in the literature?

Best regards,
Dave
