Modeling a soft exoskeleton

Hi, I am trying to model a soft back-support exoskeleton as the image shown below:

I can assume the properties of the elastic bands (location, length, and stiffness), am not sure how the bands can be modeled in the AnyBody. Any examples would be also appreciated if available.

Hi Jpark,

This should be possible. You can use AnyKinPLine to model the elastic bands. You can specify not only the start and end points, but also the via points for the path of the band. Then, you can use AnyForce and refer to the AnyKinPLine measure to apply a force along the path. The force can be an elastic force as a function of length of the PLine. Please note that the force will also be applied along the via points resulting in a normal component at the via point.
