Moving a human with BVH

Hi all,
My finale goal is to use anybody to perform a gait analysis and stress analysis on the residual limb of a human model with prosthetic leg and using a BVH coming from iPisoft as motion data.
Proceding by steps I would like to
[ol]
[li]drive a stick model with mocap data
[/li][li]than attaching human model to stick model
[/li][li]than creating the interaction between feet and ground
[/li][li]and finally to replace the healthy leg with the prosthetic one.
[/li][/ol]

I’ve already experienced that my BVH have are not with the same structure of the ones usually used in anybody but I obtained a traslator that create a usable versione of the data.

I would need some suggestion about the first steps

Hi Giordano,

I have a model that completes step 1-3 of your list that you can have a copy of. As far as I know, you are already in contact with Søren Tørholm from AnyBody Techology? We actually talked about the model yesterday and I will give him my model after easter and he can help you adapt it your data.

With that said, we have recently performed a validation study of musculoskeletal models driven by Kinect and iPi data (currently under review in Journal of Biomechanics) and the results for the lower extremity were not that great.

Hi Michael,
yes I'm already in contact with Søren Tørholm, I would really appreciate to have a copy of your model.

Best regards
Giordano

Hi again,

Søren has a copy of the model now and will get back to you shortly I think.
