Question about ChartFX 2D

Hi!

I’m working with the StandingLift Model and i’m interested in knowing the total muscleactivity in only the muscles that are used in the lumbar area during the lift.

Right now, i’m looking in the folder “JointsLumbar”: (ChartFX/Output/model/Humanmodel/Trunk/Jointslumbar)
Is this the right place to look, if yes, which folder include the total muscleactivity information for the lumbar area?

Hi Joakim,
if you want to get all the muscles contributing to the lumbar spine you have to use the folders MuscleSpineRight, MuscleSpineLeft and Buckle (for the abdominal pressure).

Buckle, MusclesSpineLeft/Right contains a lot of folders and graphs and im not quite sure which one I should pick to get the correct data from the muscles contributing in the lumbar area.
Which graph contain the data in Buckle, MusclesSpineLeft and MusclesSpineRight?

Hi Joakim,

The folders Buckle, MusclesSpineLeft/Right contains lots of data this is correct…

If you want to look at all the muscle activities for say the left side then please select one of the muscles in the left side and plot its Activity property. Then if you add a “*” instead of the muscles name you will get a display of all muscle activities in this folder.

Please note that all muscles listed in MusclesSpineRight/Left contributes to the lumbar section since the thoracic part of the spine is stiff, and has no muscles applied yet.
