Hello,
now i want to know if there is a search function which covers the
whole Filetree you need for a model. It is not very comfortable to
open every single include to control if special keywords are used
inside. Is there a tool i have not found yet?
Thanks for your efforts and best regards, Maren
Hi Maren,
You are completely right. There is no general search function and
indeed it would be very convenient.
The good news is that it is coming in version 3.0 (late this spring)
together with other model browsing facilities.
Anyway there might be a function that can help you somewhat and it is
not so obvious, so maybe you (and others) have not seen this.
If you can find, what you are looking for the Model Tree, then you
can right-click the item and select “Dump locations”. This action
will print stuff to the Output View and in this text you will see
file locations with file and line number. You will see locations such
Construction Location (i.e. where the object is created) and Init.
Location (i.e. where it is initialized).
The `filename(line-number)’ string is active so you should be able to
double-click it, and it will jump to the code.
I hope this helps you a bit,
Michael

Hi Michael,
the right click on the model tree is my favourite tool for model
investigation and i use it almost every time i work with AnyBody. So i
will wait for the new version and i look forward to the new features.
Thanks, best regards, Maren.
