Hello,
ÂÂ
I have one thing confused.
If I have the properties (MVC) of all muscles of whole body for one motion (like
squat jump) about the subject, does it mean I can simulate all kinds of movement
(like running, swing, batting, and so on)?
On the other hand, I can use the subject’s muscle properties to simulate any
motion he can do, and the simulation result is valid.
Does AnyBody can do that?
ÂÂ
Best Regard,
Johnny
I am sorry but I am not sure I fully understand the question.
If you have measured % MVC values for the various muscles you will normally use
this for a comparison with calculated muscle activations from the model.
I am not sure it is possible to use MVC data for scaling the muscles properties
since the data you will have available will be only the surface muscles. A
better way to scale the model would be to do joint strength measurements, and
then try to replicate these in the model.
Please ask again, if this does not answer the question
