Can we import a program in Text file format into AnyBody?

Hello
I am Madu from Buffalo. I have started using AnyBody very recently and
joined this group to know more about it. I have a question to be answered. I
need to know if the anyscript files are stored as ordinary text files, will
it be possible to import them into AnyBody?
I wish to know this because I have not installed the software in my desktop
as it is outdated and presently I am workin using computers in department
lab now for running my AnyBody applications. If importing of text files is
possible, I will be able to create those files at home, store it in CD/Thumb
drives and import them into AnyBody from lab computers- rather than copy and
paste stuff.
Awaitin your reply
Madu.

Hello Madu

Welcome to the group:D

Well the Anybody files are in the *.any format, but it can be opened
by any *txt editor. Means that you can use notepad for editing them.
Best luck

Christian, AnyBody Support

Hello Group Members
Thanks for your reply, Christian. But what I need to know is that, is there
any option to import a text file into AnyBody. I know the AnyBody Files can
be opened using Notepad. However, I would like to know if I type my coding
in Notepad and save it as *.any format, will I be able to open it using
AnyBody?
Thanks for your time
Madu.

Yes. As long as the file is an ascii file (noraml text file) and has
the correct file extension, ie “whatever.any”, you will be able to
open it using AnyBody.
