Detailed Femur Model

Hi there,

When exporting the surface of the femur from the GaitLowerExtremity model I get an .stl file of the surface geometry of the femur. I understand that there are plans to eventually include more detailed femur morphology in a future release. Does anyone know where in the meantime I can get a 3d femur model matching the outer geometry of that used in gaitlowerextremity but including some internal geometry?

Hi Sandy,

do you mean a volumetric mesh with internal geometry? In that case I could imagine that there are mesher coming along with FE software packages (Ansys or Abaqus) or other tools like Cubit, Mimics or similar tools.
