havent really started using the anybody tech software as yet but i’m
studying the tutorials to see if this software can be helpful for my
work. is anybody in this group doing similar work?

Hello Zahid, and welcome to the group.

Yes, the AnyBody Research Project has a project called the Seated
Human. There is a poorly updated homepage about it here:
http://www.anybody.aau.dk/seatedhuman/index.htm.

The model developed in the seated human project is available in the
model repository, which you should have already on your computer, if
you have done the getting started tutorial. This model is unfortunately
not so kinematically robust. It works ok in its basic configuration but
it is not robust against changes of seating position because of the way
the connections between the human body and the chair are made.

We are working hard on a better model though, and it will be available
in a repository update that we are trying to get out.

Best regards,

John Rasmussen,
The AnyBody Research Project.
