Hill muscle model equations

Hi all,

I was trying to change the definition of some muscle from simple muscle models to Hill-type AnyMuscleModel3E.
I found this previous post: http://forum.anyscript.org/showthread.php?t=4074&highlight=force+velocity

where there are literature references for the equations used in AnyMuscleModel3E. However, I could only find a correspondence for the PE and tendon relationships between the literature paper (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0021929088902497) and the tutorials.

In this literature paper:

  1. CE force-length relationship (ref)

I understand the active force-length relationship is based on a muscle dimension called index of architecture, and I'm not sure how that index is related to the parameters required by the AnyMuscleModel3E.

Also, I am not sure about the force-velocity relationship implemented in the AnyBody AnyMuscleModel3E model, since the link to the reference in the old post does not lead to a paper, but to a citation. I tried to find a paper but I don't think I got the correct one.

Could you provide me with the equations used, and the literature references for the force-length and force-velocity curves used in AnyMuscleModel3E?

Thank you,

Michele
