input/output parameter

Hello together,

I´m new at this amazing program and I hope somebody can give me some answers concerning to the functionality of anybody.

I´m going to make a gait analsys with anybody and I´m lookig for possible input/output parameters.
Is it possible to set: step size, speed respectively acceleration of individual joints, posture/rotation of feet (I`m nearly sure I can), reaction forces of the floor and the muscle forces?
I know the usually way is to get the muscle/joint forces but what about setting them at first?
And which floor forces may I read out?
And what about the balance point of the model - will it be changed during the gait analsys?

Thanks a lot!

Hello rob,

welcome to the AnyBody world. I hope you will have as much un as we all have!

The AnyBody Modeling System uses the principle of inverse dynamics! That means you feed the AMS with motion and read out muscle and joint forces.

You can define motion yourself using joint angles or better use MoCap data. There you use Force Platforms as additional input.

We have several Wiki for more detailed information and in our download section of AnyBodyTech.com you can find WebCasts regarding various subjects…

have a look around here, on the AnyBodyTech site or on the wiki and when you have detailed questions, please come back
