Knee joint kinematics and axial force

Hello I am a new Anybody user and I am currently doing a PhD project that focuses on the knee joint. I aim to find knee

  1. Kinematics such as flexion/extension, mediolateral and A/P translations, internal/external rotation

  2. and axial force on the tibia during walking.

I have managed to run the standing and then the walking activity using my C3D dataset on the MoCap model in the repository and I have implemented the TLEM in my model.

The only kinematic data I can find in the outputs when running “RunAnalysis” is the knee flexion/extension.

Could you help me regarding the others? Am I doing something wrong?

I am using AMMR v.2.2.1

Best regards

Hi, Kostas

The AnyBody Modeling System assumes the Knee joint as a hinge joint which only has one DOF (Flexion and Extension) by default. You can open more DOFs using FDK methods.
