Parallel running with AnyBody 7.2

Hi,

When I am running simulations in parallel through AnyPyTools with AnyBody 7.2 the simulations are very slow compared to the same simulations ran with AnyBody 7.1. I can also see that 10 parallel simulations take 5% of the CPU with version 7.2 and about 40% with 7.1. Is this a setting that should be changed with 7.2?

Kind regards,
Laura

Hi Laura,

This is an issue we have also discovered recently, the trigger for the problem is if your model contains a camera or more specifically "AnyCamRecorder" objects. So the quick fix is to disable the camera while running the processing.

This problem has been fixed in AMS and is part of the current beta release.

If you are not part of the beta program you can sign up here:
