I’am venant Xu. I am doing an example by using AnyBody software. The purpose is to make a bending Human model stand up. I have established the initial posture of the bending model. But when I attempt to apply the driver and then run the model, the system will always give lots of warnings that the model is indeterminated. I studied the model for almost a month. But the model still doesn’t work. l uploaded the model files as the attachement. I really need your kind help. Thank you!
Hi Venant Xu,
the file you uploaded seems to be corrupted, please try to upload the file again. If your only purpose is to model a bendning and you give the Pelvis-Thorax angle, a good starting point is the StandingModel. All you have to do is to adjust the Mannequin file.
Best regards,
Sebastian
Thank your instant reply. I have reloaded the model files again. The purpose is to make kneeled (bendning) model to stand up. The initial posture that i have adjusted in the Mannequin file is a starting posture for running. I want to drive the posture to stand up. So, the problem is to adjust the driver file. Although I have adjuted the driver files for a long time, it cannot work. Could you kindly adjust the driver files for me. Thank you.
This is a more complex motion than simply bending the knees or trunk as we previously understood, and difficult to drive if you don’t have motion capture data. You will have to use interpolation drivers for that, so maybe finaly the FreePostureMove is a better way to start because it already have such driver for all joints and you can modify the values in the Mannequin file.
You can also use some features of the StandingModel like the ground contact force and the center of mass driver (CoMDriver).
