I am working on a project concerning the shoulder and I was planning
on creating a sole shoulder model from the whole body model, which is
basically the Dutch shoulder model as I understand it. However, I have
seen that there are a number of people working on shoulder models here
and that there are a few models in the files section. I can’t seem to
find any documentation on any of those models so I don’t know exactly
what they include/exclude or what has been done to them. Does anyone
know if any of those files is an unmodified version of the Dutch
shoulder model or where that can be found? Is there any information or
documentation regarding the other shoulder models in the files
section? Thanks a lot.
To my knowledge, files uploaded to the file section of the group are mostly
files that users upload so Anybody’s Support staff can look at it. For
information on the current shoulder model within the repository, you would
have to look at the Publication section of the repository website
(http://anybody.aau.dk/publications.htm). I’ve looked quickly and found the
following publication that might be what you are looking for:
Natalie Lindsay (2001): Modelling of the Shoulder
<http://anybody.aau.dk/pdf/shoulder.pdf> Mechanism. A report describing the
development of a three-dimensional biomechanical model of the human shoulder
complex. Report no. 106, Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Aalborg
University, Denmark. ISSN 0905-4219
Now, don’t take what I say for granted, I`m just a user too. Anybody Support
are mostly on vacation right now, so they don’t answer as quickly. I’m sure
they will answer this question better than I did when they’re back.

Jean-Olivier is right about the files uploaded to the group these
are mostly files for debugging etc.
In the BodyModel directory there is already a model consisting of
the spine and the right arm it is named SpineRigthArm, i think you
should start using that.
In the file Aalborg/arm3d/shoulderArm.root.any there is a list of
references to where the data in the model originates from.
