I want to add 10 degrees of motion to the spine in PelvisThoraxExtensionVec, but, I am curious as to whether the AnyBody software considers the Thorax from T1-L1 or T1-T12. In other words are we considering the range of motion of the disk at T12-L1?

Your question - the thoracopelvic angle is defined as a rotation of the thorax about pelvis, with 0 being the default dataset position. T12L1 angle is being changed as well, when you drive the model using this measure to a nonzero value through a kinematic rhythm.
You can remove this rhythm driver and redefine according to your needs (copy and paste). As well as to answer a question like that you can define a kinematic measure between T12 and L1 yourself and see if it changes with the 10 degrees. The concepts of kinematic measures is the most important one in working with AnyBody - you can measure almost everything, and you can drive most of the things you measured.
