C3D Markers modification

Hello AnyBody community,

Currently, I am using some C3D files with markers that don't match the ones from AnyBody (in the script MarkerProtocol.any). So, I found out I can use the software Mokka to rename the markers and run the Plug-in-gait_Simple model. However, I have fewer markers than the ones used for AnyBody.

Is it still appropriate to make those changes? If I have fewer markers, the outcomes from the inverse kinematics analysis are affected?

Thank you for the help.

Hi Maria,

You could directly use your markers without renaming them in Mokka, but it will require updating them in the MarkerProtocol.any. But if you already did the job - you could just disable those that are not used in the same file.

Please have a look at this Wiki page - it may help with some of the questions:

You could also search the forum for the keywords - most of the questions have been answered before.

Kind regards,
Pavel

Thank you so much Pavel for the recommendation.
And yes, I always try to take at look at past questions.
