Is the Abductor Brevis muscle actually the Adductor Brevis?

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I encountered some confusion
with a muscle name from the body model in the repository. I was using
this with GaitVaughn study but I believe it can apply to others.

The confusion was with the AbductorBrevis muscle in the Leg: Muscle in
question highlighted in blue

I looked it up online and the AbductorBrevis name seems to be a muscle
in the hand. However, it looks a lot like the Adductor Brevis (subtle
difference), as can be seen here
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adductor_brevis_muscle> .

Is this a typo or are there different ways of naming it in the medical
community? I’m currently comparing the Anybody muscle system to others
in research and this threw me off for a bit.

I thank and appreciate any insight into this,

Hello Kaan,

Yes you’re right; it seems to be in fact a typo. Sorry for any trouble or
confusion this may have caused.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Best regards,

Sebastian
