Using the same .anyset file for the same subject and markers protocol but different movements?

Hello,

If I have multi-trials recorded for the same subject using the same markers placement protocol for different movements, should I perform a parametric identification study for each recorded C3D file of each movement?
Or is it enough to perform it once for one of the movements, and use the same .anyset file with other movements?
Considering that the subject is the same and the markers' placement is not changed.

Hi Ahmed,

In a perfect world this would be the case. You would just need to do parameter identification just once. But unfortunately we are talking about optimization again and it may find a suboptimal solution. You can try a single parameter identification approach (choose the most dynamic and varying activity in your trial collection - typically gives best results). But be aware of potential problems, in case you run into kinematic problems.

Kind regards,
Pavel
