AnyFE to Abaqus

I downloaded the converter, AnyFE2Abq , from the official web in order to follow the tutorials to do Abaqus Interface and then use Anybody files(eg.xml, etc) in Abaqus for FE analysis. However, when running the AnyFE2Abq exe, it showed “No valid license was found” . Then I copied the license and re-naming license which was given for Anybody 6.03 Trial version to the folder of AnyFE2Abq ,but still “No valid license was found”. Why this happened? And what can I do?

Hi Xiao,

The converter tool requires valid maintenance, so if the license files is out of maintenance it will not work. If you have a trial license (which is usually valid for a month) and it is from version 6.03 it is for sure out of maintenance.

Could this be the problem?

Hi Søren,
Thanks for your reply! But I’m not sure if the license has valid maintenance. The AnyBody can run very well by this license. And how can I check if the license had valid maintenance. And if the license is out of maintenance, how can I get the useful license ?
Best regards
Xiao

Hi Xiao,

In the license file you will find a date, this is the maintenance expiration date, it is written like e.g. 19.11.24 (day.month.year)

If this date is exceeded the converter tool does not work, the only way to get it running will be to renew the maintenance of the license, i am sorry.

Best regards
Søren
